Why should I donate to Secret of Mana Theater?

Really, there is only one reason. You should donate because you like this comic and you want to continue seeing more episodes. Unfortunately, I can no longer cover the cost of running the site as it has become quite expensive.

So why don't you host this site somewhere else? Somewhere free?

Nothing is ever free. Either you get swamped with pop-ups and ads or have unreliable servers and poor support. I like to maintain a certain air or professionalism with this site, as with everything I do. I take this site and this comic very seriously, which is why it's funny. It's an option I have spent a lot of time considering, and it's not something I am comfortable with doing.

Well, I don't mind supporting the comic, but why do I have to feed you, Mr. Fat Cat?

You don't. I take absolutely no profit from this site, nor will I ever. Any money you donate will go towards the cost of paying for service, bandwidth and storage primarily, but also covers the cost of materials and any shipping and handling should you order anything from The SoMT Store.

So all I get for my hard earned money is the satisfaction of paying you?

No, not at all, because there are a variety of things I have made and I am willing to give to you if you donate. All of the things available in The SoMT Store can be given to you if you reach a certain dollar amount on your donation.
